The lady whose voice note recently went viral has now shared her side of the story after calling out a man who took her number but refused to pay for her meal.
Earlier, a report surfaced about a man narrating how he was insulted by a lady who expected him to pay for her food simply because he collected her contact at a restaurant.
The clip quickly spread across social media, sparking a range of reactions online.
Lady speaks out
Reacting to the trending video, the woman, identified as Ijeoma, stated that she stands by everything she said to the man. She explained that he walked up to her, expressed interest, and asked for her number.
Faults him for refusing to pay
Ijeoma said that after they both placed their food orders, the man acted like he didnât know her when it was time to pay. She insisted that he should have covered the bill since he was openly showing interest in her.

âI am not regretting what I sent. I went to the guyâs page and saw a lot of people bashing me. I told him to bring the video down, and he hasnât replied me.

I am going to address this. I met this guy in a restaurant where I went to get food. He approached me, said he liked me and asked for my name and I told him itâs Ijeoma and stuff. He said he wants to be more than friends with me and asked for my number. As of them we hadnât gotten food. We were both entering the restaurant then. After giving him the contact, he ordered for his food and I ordered for my food.
Then it was now time to pay for the food. The guy was in same spot with me where I ordered. This guy never offered to pay for my food, this is someone who found me attractive. He just pretended as if he didnât even know me.â
